Lorraine is an associate at Gibson & Barnes LLP.

Lorraine helps trade unions establish, protect, and enforce their collective bargaining rights.  Most of her practice involves representing trade unions before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, including in applications for certification, unfair labour practice complaints, and grievance referrals.  Whether it’s providing legal support in connection to union organizing drives, protecting our clients’ work jurisdiction, or dealing with collective agreement violations, Lorraine approaches all matters with precise and rigorous preparation. 

Lorraine has specific expertise in construction labour relations. She also represents trade union clients outside the construction industry. 

Lorraine holds a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School.  During her studies, she assisted low-wage workers experiencing wage theft and other forms of workplace exploitation as a caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services and as a volunteer at the Workers’ Action Centre. 

Outside of work, Lorraine enjoys playing the piano and occasionally writing creative non-fiction.
